Well, I have finally taken the plunge into the world of blogging. I don't know much about this realm of the net so I am now into a new learning curve. I guess that means I'm still alive and kicking.
I am a scrapbooker and a card maker. I am obsessed with paper and adhesive, color, texture, bling, embellies and my CRICUT. It's all the evil Creative Memories lady's fault. She invited me to a gathering of nice friendly women, I thought "sounds like fun!"
It was. It was a whole lot of fun. And expensive.
I actually signed up to be an evil Creative Memories lady, but 3 weeks later my husband suffered a cardiac arrest. So, I didn't lure anyone to the adhesive sniffing underbelly of the paper crafting world. But scrapping our wedding album helped me stay sane during DH's recovery. There is an advantage to saving your DH's life, he can't deny you anything. So he bought my Cricut for me, the Baby Bug has been my constant companion and chief financial drain ever since.
So, here I am typing away, trying to explain how a hobby became an obsession. I didn't succeed, but it was fun.

Hi Jacque.. Congrats on yr New Blog.. i know scrapbooking can be so addictive..... and what else can a scrapper need after getting the Cricut/Expression. Whoa.. it's a blessing to us from PROVOCRAFT. I could have never dreamt of getting something like that for myself, all the way from U.S.A. (i am from India) But DH wanted me to have it.. and the Expression too. He surely is for keeps.. seems yr dh is also a darling.. Keep going girl... see u around !!!

I'm glad to hear that your DH has recovered...and that you found comfort in crafting to help you get through...
